SPARK PLACE

In addition to programming, part of the SPARK Jackson strategy is to establish a physical coworking space to converge resources with people. The designated physical space will function as a focal point, fostering purposeful interactions, facilitating new discoveries, and providing education for aspiring entrepreneurs. This space will be funded through grants, coworking memberships, events, and business sponsorship.

The Location

The identified property, formerly known as Geoge’s Tire Shop, which sits adjacent to the Seymour Main Street boundary, will serve as an attractive new gateway to Historic Downtown Seymour.  Once reenergized with new life, this property will become an attractive hub for innovation and collaboration, within walking distance of the many amenities offered in downtown.

The Facility

The facility for our space will be modeled after Bloomington’s coworking space, The Mill. The Mill has excelled in creating a collaborative and supportive space for local entrepreneurs, attracting over 350 members and dozens of companies.
