SPARK Jackson County has developed a suite of programs to spark new innovation, fuel existing businesses, connect people and resources, and provide essential business education. These programs are designed to increase the success rates of our local entrepreneurs and innovators.
The Flywheel Fund of Jackson County is a local venture fund dedicated to providing startup capital to local entrepreneurs. This fund supports innovative ideas, enhances the business community, and offers mentorship and networking opportunities. Additionally, it transforms local investors into experienced angels, ensuring sustainable investment opportunities for Jackson County
SPARK School is a program focused on junior high students, teaching business operations through hands-on experience. Students will receive mentorship from entrepreneurs and will feed into the Maverick Challenge competition.
